Thca

What is THCA?

At MichOrganics Hemp we focus on education and quality. We want you to be the most educated Hemp consumers. It starts here, getting educated by growers. Not the middle men then change strain names and don’t have proper Lab tests.

All of our Hemp Derived products are tested for potency and pesticides.

Let start with Potency. There are almost 100 Cannabinoids produced by Hemp plants.

The First Cannabinoid we should focus on is Delta-9 THC % or Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol. This is what keeps us 100% federally legal and compliant. All Hemp products need to test below 0.3% Delta-9 THC.

The next cannabinoid we focus on is THCa. THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a non-psychoactive precursor to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the well-known psychoactive compound found in Hemp. In its raw form, Hemp plants produce THCa rather than THC. THCA is abundant in freshly harvested or raw Hemp buds and does not induce the characteristic “high” commonly associated with THC. Through a process called decarboxylation (which involves heat). Once heated THCa converts into THC, the compound responsible for the euphoric effects of consuming Hemp. Our Hemp Flowers are all rich in THCa.

CBD or Cannabidiol  is the second most commonly know Cannabinoid behind THC. CBD is naturally found in Hemp products at varying %. Lots of hemp flower is rich in both CBD and THCa which combined give the amazing effects associated with Hemp Products.

There are many more cannabinoids as mentioned above. We will continue to educate as more studies are published.
